Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?
We ship from Javea, on the Costa Blanca. Beautiful, but not exactly around the corner if you live in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany. Expect around 5 to 10 working days. Life moves a little slower here, and that's exactly why you like this brand.
Patience is a virtue. You'll be glad you waited.

Can it be faster?
No. We believe in slow living, and that starts with logistics. We're not a warehouse operation shipping from a distribution center outside Amsterdam. Every order leaves from Spain, with care.
Can't wait? We're stocked at several spots in Javea. Come by, see it, feel it, enjoy Javea and take it home the same day.

Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship within Spain and to the Netherlands. Live somewhere else? Drop us a message and we'll see what we can do.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are shown at checkout, depending on your location. Above a certain order amount, we ship for free, because it's the right thing to do.

Can I track my order?
Sí. Once your package is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link by email. So you can watch your new favorite piece float somewhere above the Pyrenees.

My order is delayed. What now?
Sometimes the Spanish postal system takes its own sweet time. If you haven't received anything after 12 working days, reach out to us at info@buenavistastudios.com. We'll sort it out.

Picking Up in Javea
I'm in Javea. Can I pick up my order or just stop by?
Absolutely. We're present at several locations in Javea! Send us a message for the current addresses and opening hours. Sometimes walking into a store is the best way to feel what we mean by 'Mediterranean state of mind'.

Can I pay in-store?
Yes, absolutely. 

Sizing
How do I know which size to order?
We have a size guide on every product page. Still unsure? Go bigger. Buena Vista wears best when it's a little relaxed, that's kind of the whole point.

Your clothes are quite loose-fitting. Is that intentional?
Yes. Very much so. We make clothes to move in, sit in, walk along the coast in. A tight fit is something you'll find north of the Pyrenees. Here, it's about comfort, ease, and that unmistakable Mediterranean nonchalance.

I'm between two sizes. What do you recommend?
Go for the larger size. Always.

Materials & Quality
What materials do you use?
We work with natural materials: linen, cotton, and blends that breathe in the Spanish heat. No synthetic fabrics that make you sweat on a terrace in July. But we work with high quality sweaters so during winter or in the Netherlands, we'll make sure you feel warm.

How long will my Buena Vista piece last?
A long time, if you look after it. We don't make fast fashion. Every piece is made to last more than one summer. Treat it well, and it only gets better with age. We've written a blog about this. Read it carefully to enjoy your pieces the longest possible. 

Will the colours fade after washing?
Natural materials can soften slightly in colour over time, that's character, not a flaw. Wash on a low temperature, inside out, and let it air dry. In the shade, ideally.

Care
How do I wash my Buena Vista clothing?
Cold or lukewarm (max 30°C), inside out, and never in the dryer. Got linen? Hang it while it's still slightly damp, it'll smooth itself out naturally.

Can I iron it?
You could but not the print. And on a low setting. But honestly, a lightly wrinkled linen shirt fits the Buena Vista aesthetic perfectly. Not everything needs to be pressed.

I've got a stain. What do I do?
Act quickly. Cold water, gentle soap, no rubbing. Give it time.

Returns & Exchanges
Can I return something if it doesn't fit?
Yes. You have 14 days from the moment you receive your order to return it, as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, and still has its tags on. Send an email to [info@buenavistastudios.com] and we'll take care of the rest.

Who covers the return shipping costs?
Return shipping is at the customer's expense, unless we made a mistake or the product arrived damaged. In that case, we fix it. Punto.

Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, as long as the size you want is still in stock. We work with batches. Unique pieces. Get in touch before you send anything back and we'll set it aside for you.

How long does a refund take?
Once we've received and checked your return, we process the refund within 5 working days. Depending on your bank, it may take a little longer to appear in your account.

Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, and the standard European payment methods. You'll see all options at checkout.

Is it safe to pay on your website?
Sí. We use secured payment pages and don't store any payment details.

Do you offer buy now, pay later?
Yes, Klarna. 

About Buena Vista Studios
Where are you from?
Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain. One of the most beautiful stretches of the Mediterranean coast, and the reason everything we make looks the way it does.

Why the name Buena Vista Studios?
Because every good life deserves a beautiful view. Buena Vista, literally 'good view' in Spanish, stands for a way of living, not just a piece of clothing. Studios, because we believe style is a craft.

Are you a big brand?
No. And that's by design. We build slowly, with intention. No seasonal pressure, no overproduction. When something sells out, it's gone.

Who do you make clothes for?
For people who value quality over quantity. Who'd rather buy one good shirt than five average ones. Who understand that a slower pace isn't a limitation, it's a choice.

Sustainability & Production
Where is your clothing made?
In Europe, by producers we know personally. We deliberately choose small-scale production over large factories.

Are you sustainable?
We'll be honest with you. We don't claim to be 'fully sustainable', that would be too easy. What we do: buy consciously, produce in small runs, choose quality materials that last longer, and avoid waste wherever we can.
Slow fashion is at the core of what we do.

Do you use animal-based materials?
We primarily work with plant-based fibres like linen and cotton. If we ever use wool or another animal-based material, we clearly state it on the product page.
