Our story

Buena Vista Studios is a love letter to the Mediterranean way of life. Conceived, made and lived in Xàbia. 

We're a family of five who visited Xàbia for the first time in 2022 and never quite left — not mentally, anyway. The sea, the light, the unhurried rhythm of the days. It was immediate.

Our vision

We make organic headwear for people who carry the Mediterranean with them — even on grey Tuesdays in November. Clean lines, soft coastal tones, 100% organic cotton. No compromises in the field, in production, or on your head.

Our caps aren't just accessories. They're a reminder. Of sun-drenched days, salty air, and life lived at a slower pace. Mediterranean essentials that carry that feeling.

Why Xàbia?

Xàbia sits on the Costa Blanca, tucked between mountains and sea. Over 300 days of sunshine a year. Turquoise water, the scent of orange blossoms, a coastline that makes you want to slow down. Not the Mediterranean as a postcard — but as a way of living.

A simple gift turned into a coastal brand

In 2024, we bought a small apartment in Xàbia. For our guests, we made a welcome gift: an embroidered cap. A gesture, nothing more.

We never expected what happened next.

Guests took the cap home. To the beach, the plane, the supermarket in Utrecht. They sent photos. They wanted more — for friends, for family. What started as hospitality grew into something harder to name, but easier to feel.

2025 — Coming home

We put down roots in Xàbia. Our home sits between the mountains and the sea. From our naya, a mountain called the Montgo fills the horizon, majestic and unhurried, watching over the orange fields below. That's where every cap begins.

This wasn't a career move. It was a life move. Every cap ships from our front door in Xàbia. Packed with care, sent with love.
